We heard over and over again that singing was one of the most dangerous things we could do during the pandemic.
Throughout the last few centuries, every major movement of social change has been accompanied by singing. Just look to the streets of Nashville this spring! We sing to inspire, to challenge, to encourage, and to propel us forward into a better, more equitable future. So perhaps singing has always been a little bit dangerous? This concert will honor music and movements of protest and social transformation.

This concert will feature (and benefit) a number of community partners. You’ll have a chance to hear from each of them and get engaged with their transformative work before you leave:

December 2022 - Sing we joyous
We’re thrilled to be back! Join for an afternoon of joyful celebration as we welcome the season with traditional (and not-so-traditional!) favorites. Special guests include Horacio Guendulain (piano), Tamica Nicole (soprano), Cremaine “That Cello Guy” Booker (cello), Ryoko Suzuki (harmonium), and Jeff Coffin (flute).
